Summary:

Layla is a paranormal romance that follows Leeds, a musician who falls deeply in love with Layla. After a traumatic incident leaves Layla physically recovered but emotionally distant, Leeds takes her to a secluded bed-and-breakfast for healing. But things take a strange turn when he begins experiencing supernatural events—and finds himself drawn to another presence in the house. As the line between reality and the unexplainable blurs, Leeds must decide who to trust—and what love truly means.

My Thoughts:

I read Layla during a train journey and finished it in just a few hours. I don’t usually read paranormal thrillers, so this was a new experience for me—but a surprisingly enjoyable one. Some parts had me fully immersed, and the suspense kept me curious throughout. While it’s not my favorite Colleen Hoover book, I still liked it fairly well. Overall, it was a good, quick read that offered something different and kept me engaged.
